7) This thrilling journey starts from the majestic castle of Lerici and, in particular, the chapel of Saint Anastasia, which still features three incontestable evidences of the Templar Order – a cross, a standard-bearing lamb and a cross-bearing lamb. Then you can continue the journey through the “carruggi” and reach the old war-tower in the very center of Lerici. Today the tower is the bell-tower of the Saint Roch church, and inside you can find an old, pedunculated cross – another symbol of the Templars.
Walk up to the hills of Pugliola and you will find four Templars crosses on the bell-tower of San Nicolò and Santa Lucia churches.
